Welcome!
What pretty flowers. Thumbs up I am sure some experts will chime in with some good advice but I thought I would share my experience with a dead looking plant.

Phals are funny, some will tell you they are difficult but I have had some luck with them.
A few months ago, as a joke, a friend gave me the two sick looking orchids in this picture and sald "fix please." Do you see the one on the left in the back? There was nothing alive above the surface of the potting medium but I could see some roots that looked alive through the plastic.

It became a challange so it got watered regularly and after a few weeks it looked like this.

More recently it looked like this.

The rot is a concern, maybe treat it with some cinnamon???
But, don't give up hope.
