@GrowingCrazy - The best remedy for an overwatered plant is to stop watering and allow the soil to dry out naturally. Unpotting a plant and removing soil often causes more damage than may have already been done by the overwatering. Going from extreme moisture to extreme dryness is never a good idea.

Move your Peace Lily back into a pot ASAP! Use the SMALLEST pot that the roots will, fit into snugly along with just enough porous potting mix to barely cover the roots. Then keep the potting mix damp.

More often than not, overwatering starts with repotting plants into pots that are too large.
