Any of you familiar with Mikes Weather Page on Facebook and his website spaghettimodels.com? It features TONS of great information about storms and such.

Since I have been watching dangerous H. Florence as it nears my DD1's home in Jacksonville, I have also been using his website. It's a bit overwhelming but once you slow down and look at all that's on there, it is so good! It has simple links on how to prepare for a storm etc. to live maps and many, many interactive maps so you can see exactly what your areas has too deal with storm surges, water and air temperatures, etc. For weather Geeks like me, I enjoy it so much! Mike is the Ultimate Weather Geek. He is not a Meteorologist by trade. But looks at allll the models and makes his own (very accurate) conclusions. Meteorologists listen to him, too.

WELL! There is another system out there, near Cuba right now that formed late today. It is 6 days away and has 50% chance of forming into a storm. First predictions came from the Euro Models that have it heading straight into the Gulf and to Texas. Now, it is 6 days away. But thought you might like a heads up. Mike says the pressure from this system that is not even named yet, can pull other systems our way! Use the website/Facebook page to keep current.
Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love Truly, Laugh
uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you Smile.
