I was one of the first 300 contributors to the plant database!
Betty - I never kick myself over composting a seedling, I only kick myself for keeping a seedling too long...Once you start hybridizing you will look back and laugh at some of the daylilies you paid big money for, and wonder why you kept that seedling so long.

I find this interesting what others think of seedlings........this is a typical day in a seedling bed, these seedlings have bloomed for the first time which would you remove, and which would you take another look at?

These were shot around May 2nd so take in consideration possible early bloom season..
