I have some invasive grass that has really taken over in the past couple of years. It must have come in on some plant, as I didn't have it for the 15 years before when I lived here. I have tried to identify it online and I think it might be Bermuda grass, but I'm not sure, because it doesn't have extensive root systems, it just flops all over the place and grows sideways above ground in and through everything, choking it out.

I have had great luck spraying Fusillade. It is very expensive, but very concentrated and a quart will probably last me ten years, even though I have a very large garden. The grass comes back eventually, but the Fusillade prevents it from taking over, and has actually eradicated it from a couple small beds, when I caught it early and sprayed. It seems to work best when you spray early in the season before the grass gets too big.

Whatever this grass is, it's a real nightmare.
