My first bloom to open is Open Your Eyes (Paul Black 2016). I bought this from the Tempo Two closing down sale last year and it decided to make me wait a year before I got to see it flower. I love the combination of the dark blueish purple and the white
I also have a moraea (peacock iris) in flower which just happens to be a similar colour scheme. Last year I bought 5 of these and only got one bloom. I was hoping to have a nice clump photo for this year but they opened at different times. These blooms are tiny, about 4cm (1.5 inches) wide. The iris in the background is sdb Cat's Eye.
The next batch of blooms are at least a week away.
