Happy belated birthday indeed, Janie!
I did go in to Urgent Care again to see if they could further evaluate the situation with my leg, and they have ruled out stress fracture by account of several X-rays. They've also taken more blood work just in case a blood clot could have developed in a week, but they highly doubt it.
More or less, they're suggesting it is a mild sprain, but I don't know how a person can simply walk forward and not twist an ankle, or fall or anything and still get a sprain. I now have a foot brace on and I am likely to be bound to crutches for awhile because I have to baby the sprain and not make it worse. Lovely! Now I can simply not garden my gardens until my foot is in working shape again....
But, I can deal with that if that means my leg and foot get better....also happens to be great that I'll be crutching around very hilly places while we're on our yearly trip to Flat Rock, NC for a convention of sorts.
On a good side of news, my driver's course is going swell. She's saying I have been taught very well for only driving a total of seven months. There are a few things we're tweaking, but she is saying I am doing very well.
Halfway done with the course, and I WILL be a licensed driver!
That just means, y'all stay clear!
I also started making a spreadsheet (and in my iris list) of what's planted where so I can retain a grasp of what is where and "okay, so that purple IS indeed....that one...uh...Siri, what's the name of this iris?"
An example is I am giving the various iris beds initials. If I planted Stairway to Heaven, and Conjuration in the L-shaped bed, the initials would go sort of like LSBSTHC. And if the tire bed, TB3SDMMBE = Tire bed 3, Sharp Dressed Man, Micro Burst, Epicenter, and so on. I'll also begin taking pictures of each iris newly planted and some of the olders as best I can just for a second confirmation. Is this a good strategy?
I did get some more dirt, and two more $1 dollar each mum containers. I'll likely plant them soon....if my foot doesn't say otherwise!
