Thanks to all for your sympathies. I'm sure when Spring rolls in, this year's disaster will just be a distant memory and I'll be enjoying new irises and new blooms. Since the crown rot infection is so endemic, I'm about to use Agrin-mycin 17 antibiotic on all the plants. Has anyone had experience with this? I found out about this from Aitken's Salmon Creek iris gardens for such cases.
