Sharon, - so you didn´t have a bite of the turducken.- Well, although I like meat, I didn t like it ´very much the one time my daughter prepared it. As I told you she put in a lot of work to prepare it and everybody seemed to like it a lot. But I prefer one bird at a time ok. And Maccaroni and Cheese is wonderful too. Thumbs up
By the way we don´t celebrate Thanksgiving here, I mean it is not an Icelandic custom. But traditions travel nowadays and younger people who have lived and studied all over the world bring with them new traditions, - Thanksgiving being one of them.
The Christmas fast/advent started today, which means ligthing the first candle on the Advent Wreath, and every Sunday until Christmas.
December and January are the darkest months and everybody decorate their houses inside and out at this time.
