Thank you so much for responding to my banner. There's always something new to learn. So as an expert, what would you suggest in as far as labeling this plant. Should the nickname of edible "garlic chive" be dropped, and only the name of Allium tuberosum be applied? I have experienced their aggressive invasiveness and keep them in control by cutting off the blooms before the seed heads turn black. Otherwise, you are correct, hand pulling is impossible. Also, should they be classified more like weed type vs. a edible herb? The certainly do smell garlicky
although I have never used them in a recipe. Your insight and comments are appreciated.
