Okay, I'm not a newbie but I'm at my wits end trying to identify one of my daylilies.

So what's the problem you may well ask. I can't even begin to describe the flower! It is extremely variable! Here are some pictures taken this year. These are all of the same plant.

The first photo was taken June 27 and the second one was July 4. Both were taken early in the morning.

How would you describe the bloom? I'm not even sure of the main color! Does it have an eye? The only thing I'm sure of is that the scapes are very short (it blooms way down in the foliage).

Does anyone else have a daylily like this? One that can look completely different depending on the day?
