I have another self set Lupin in a bed on the other side of this Lynn (I have a central hexagon with surrounding path), the other one has been there for maybe three or four years now and is robust. It has creamy yellow flowers, I don't have one that colour it could have come from! It's somewhere between the other which was like a tree Lupin and this one but looks like a standard Lupin. I'm beginning to wonder if my latest tree Lupin came from the yellow one, and the yellow one came from the first tree Lupin which was shorter. A sort of two stage reversion! I can't wait to see the flowers, fingers crossed for next year.

As you might expect, I only have photos of it with bees on. Hilarious! It's closer to the colour of Lupinus arboreus.. the other tree Lupin was a pale lavender blue two tone with a creamy part, similar to the photo on this site..
