This is a diffuclt one, I bought the bulbs from a small nursery onine here which specialise in species bulbs, but they don't have it listed now although it comes up in a google.

On Pacific Bulb Society there is only Narcissus tazetta listed but showing some natural wild subspecies or forms.

The RHS has two places which offered this, one being miniaturebulbs where I got mine from, the other is a specialist grower which I know has been in the business for a long time and passed down through the family. They haven't got it listed now either, mine didn't live so I guess their's didn't do well but they do keep old varieties going and from what I have previously read they know their stuff.

THe RHS states the name is not found in literature, but they don't state the name is not accepted.

Daffseek has it listed as 'Odoratus' and is a tazetta species, it sounds to be the same one as the apricot scent and being found on the Isles of Scilly was mentioned in the description when I bought it. This is giving it a capital as though it is a named hybrid, which doesn't seem correct to me if it was 'found' on the Isles of Scilly ( a small group of islands off the south west tip of Cornwall England)

None of the photos look like mine, but I feel the suppliers do offer correctly named bulbs.

The flowers were very small but the stem grew fairly tall..
