I can not say with any certainty what type of orchid they are. Are there any labels?
I have seen miniature Cymbidiums look like this or some Cattleya hybrids. The culture would be very different for each.
A lot of those roots look okay but you need them back in a pot with the correct media.
Orchid lecturer, teacher and judge. Retired Wildlife Biologist. Supervisor of a nature preserve up until I retired.
