Many of my little collection are ones most people don't/won't grow. I like the plants more than the blooms (probably a good thing when many orchids only bloom one time a year). I enjoy seeing them bloom, but more because it implies I did something right (OK - more likely, despite my help!)

I love seeing other people's plants in bloom, so many beautiful pictures; they are all an encouragement to me as are all of you. I would love to have the room - and the experience - for many that I see here, and perhaps in a couple more years that can happen.
My little herd is growing - over 3 dozen different ones. I make it a rule to buy only a small number at a time (usually 1-3) so I can get to know them and their needs individually; it has worked well - I've lost very few doing that!
