Using gasoline to kill wasps never occurred to me.

Last year I stumbled across a nest when planting a new shrub. I was stung several times. Not a pleasant thing.

I sprayed with wasp killer. A few days later when I checked, they were gone.

Wasp spray is probably sprayable gasoline:)
