My son and his wife drove over from Sarasota to visit this weekend to help me do some chores outside that had been put off for a month due to my back. I now have electricity in the shed (three fluorescent fixtures, light switches at each door, and five plugs). No more pulling a 100' extension cord from the patio to the shed. Hurray!

My daughter-in-law always likes to take a plant or two back to Sarasota, so she picked out one of my compact (and blooming) orchids to take back with her. It was in an 8", wood-lattice, hanging basket. She wanted a hanging plant for their lanai. The Pot. Ah Chung YoYo 'Little Goldfish' was the orchid she chose. I had 8 of these in a large hanging basket under one of my trees and they are all beginning to grow roots into adjacent pots. I need to put them all in individual hanging baskets or just put them on a table in my shadehouse so that they won't be "joined" with other orchids. I have several baskets of plants that I need to do this. Hopefully, after my back surgery, I can get caught up with some chores.

The reason it's so hard to lose weight when you get up in age is because your body and your fat have become good friends.
