Last winter was bitter cold and tons of snow.
I thought I would get a start on outside lights that I could manage to avoid working in bitter cold.
I hung a couple of strings on the trellises and waited for SIL to come home from travels, three days.
That as 3 weeks ago. I asked for a "confrence with the managment) lol and asked if he could hook up the cords and set the auto timer.
That was done for Thanksgiving day. The Sunday after both SIL and DD did the icicle lights on the house. and bought the tree, which stayed on the deck until Sunday.
I'm excited to see th tree and what it meant, but it was a week before the tree came into the house.
My job is to hang the lights while SIL and DD watch football.
This took 2 hours over 600 lights and I was exhausted.I went to plug the lights into the extention cord and realized I had created another geezer moment.
You guessed it. I was presented with the plug that was thewrong end,no prongs to connect, the whole tree had to be unwound and redone.
I was so peeved I nearly killed the cat.
