Nice job!
An extra note about Abe Lincoln declaring Thanksgiving a national holiday:
Abe Lincoln wasn't the first to declare it a national holiday, just to make it an annual, federally-recognized holiday. George Washington was the first to declare it a holiday (originally declaring it to be celebrated on November 26, I believe), but it didn't really stick. Apparently, Jefferson didn't celebrate it. Then, in the middle of the Civil War, in 1863, Abe Lincoln declared it a national holiday to be celebrated on the last Thursday in November.
Some of you more astute readers will recognize that isn't the official day of Thanksgiving anymore. We now celebrate it on the
fourth Thursday of November, which isn't always the last Thursday.
Jim, let me know which 3 seed packets you'd like and I'll update the above post to mark them as claimed. ;)
