I have completed tree peony pot #2. I did mix in perlite this time per Karen's suggestion.

Here is the pot I used. Both pots were already on hand and just needed drainage holes drilled.



Here is the dirt I dug up from the creek side. It is so nice.




This is the potting soil from Dollar General. No added fertilizer.
