Thanks, Christine. LOL. I have a lot of the silk ones myself. Of course, I can't have live poinsettias outdoors here either. When I lived in a climate where I could grow them outside, I only had one in the ground as I recal, maybe two. Now I'd like to have more but can't. Go figure. There is no telling how many are bought this time of the year and then discarded after the holidays. But that's the way it has to be for most people. They're really thought of a seasonal annual. I must say I'm not wild about the live ones adorned with glitter though. For some reason that just rankles me. Glare Hilarious!
I garden for the pollinators.
