I grew them quite a number of years ago. Even grew enough to sell to the local co-op, where I was selling eggs at the time.

I like them best raw, sliced in salads but also cooked some like you boil potatoes and seasoned with S&P and butter. Not bad but mine were so bumpy and such they were hard to peel. I now wonder if it would've been easier to peel them with a spoon, like I do ginger root, just scraping off the skin.
