Sorry to hear about the termites but that is one fine Laelia. I was worried myself last week. I went into the pool bathroom that we seldom use and found several dead ants/termites on top of the toilet tank. It was like a mass suicide. I cleaned it up and put a few in a plastic bag. Friday I took the bag with me to the Extension Service and looked at them with a microscope. Three segments (ants), singel node with large round head and big eyes (probably Argentine). I'll tell the bug spray guy but I least I know it was not termites. I also know it was not crazy ants which are much worse. Argentines like to nest outdoors. Why they were all dead on top of the toilet tank is beyond me. There is nothing to eat in that bathroom.
