I believe you're right, probably another case of mislabeled plants. The second photo is a plant I have that I purchased from Lowe's awhile back, mine was tagged Iresine diffusa f. herbstii. Mine is 'Color Blaze' and that plant pictured looks exactly like mine. Shrug!
