I was somewhat surprised to see that someone took the effort to review these things. I wonder if that is the newest version or not that you have there. They were originally meant to have a screw or pop rivet secure them to the end of the gutter. If it is firmly pushed in it should be level with the ground. I can make them in black easily. Just to clarify, the correct installation process is to silicone the "channel" in the adapter, push it into place, and drill a small hole through the aluminum which matches up with the hole in the gutter adapter. Then you can put a small machine screw in place and a nut on the back side.
