Cool story and beautiful daughter, @Calif_Sue

It took awhile for Leslie Renee to take off in my garden and it doesn't always open well for me either. It is a late bloomer here in my zone 3 garden, it was still blooming and had quite a few buds left when hard frost got it last year. It sets seeds well but is late enough that they don't always have time to mature. I love the color and when it opens well it is beautiful so it is a keeper for me.
