Did any of you ever see roots on a Catt like that before?
Not quite, since I don't run a nursery in Florida , but how about these?
The first one is Blc Copper Queen, the next Blc Dennis Kone ( one of the parents is C. Chocolate Drop) and the third plant is C. Chocolate Drop 'Kodama'. If you allow them to crawl out of their 'shoes' they will grow long roots. And then there is the Schomburgkia superbiens on a branch ( I have in the meanwhile split the plant and now grow it bare root in a clay pot for more manageability. I have an alba Schomburgkia superbiens starting to grow roots like that too. ( have to take a picture of that one.)
