What a wonderful article. I thought I'd start a new comment thread since the other was so long. I guess there are many citrus lovers out there! LOL

I love all citrus. We use so much, that I really want to grow my own! Actually, I have various citrus trees, I've kept them in pots so far; except the lime went in the ground this year; next year the 3 yr. old calamondin and kumquat are going in the ground. Like you said, they are more cold tolerant than most. No fruit yet, but it takes between 3-5 years before they produce... I'm almost there!
