Beware of downloading software, even if it is free. Many scams are based on this. If you Google "free wallpaper" your computer will be so loaded with so many bots and spam and crap it will take you days to clean it out if you know how. "Free" is not a word to use on any Google search for this reason. There is one free photo software out there that promises all kinds of good things. You get it, use it and it seems good. 2 weeks later you go to look at one of your pictures and it is not there. In it's place is a message from the home of that free software: all of your pictures have been downloaded to their site. If you want them back here is the pricing schedule for each one. I only recommend softwares to my students that I have personally used for years and have found to be worthwhile. Irfanview and XnView are your 2 best choices. Hope I am not repeating myself too often. If you are going to update your computer with any program, good or possibly bad, make sure you manually create a system restore point first. Then you can recover when and if things go wrong.
