I have a large variety including many huge black bumbles. One time I had bees nesting in my seedling bin. Thank God none of them seem agressive. Maybe the Irises keep them focused But yes I have concerns too about the large die offs. I had heard awhile back that bats were dieng off in large numbers. And Bats are one of our natural pesticides (insect predators)
