I've read about priming seeds but I personally don't prime. I mean, nature doesn't prime. Don't tell anyone but I also don't sterilize anything between batches. I wash stuff out, but I don't go overboard. So far I haven't had an issue, that I know of. I'm surprised boiling water doesn't result in the plug dissolving.
