I have kept my Peace Lily in same container, to be honest I am too lazy to bother it. So soil level has gone low, but the plant is still doing well, actually quite active leaf growth. Mine is in the bathroom, our windows are large but it has glass filters, so no direct light at all. I don't even give this one any fertilizers. Just watering it as needed, then removing the old dead leaves as it goes.

So I would suggest, do not repot, let it continue in that container, but definitely reposition is a more filtered light area.
