Daphne, that's a great post and it is also very interesting that you had less bloom out after you started to plant new rhizomes in pots, before later transplanting into the ground. Sounds like you are onto something there and hopefully it can help someone else in the future.
Do you do something special with the pots in the beginning, like giving them some extra shade or something?
