Well we, my cousin and my self, mostly me, removed a lot of ice from his mother's house.
Today, the ice we could not get without sitting on the roof in snow and ice and maybe damaging the roof, came down.
Ripped the entire gutter off of the side of house and part of the fascia she had put on new two years ago.
A huge chunk of ice just came off of Sharon's house approximately four feet by twelve inches by six inches.
missed most things on the ground but had I not had an ice chipper, a huge chisels with a five foot long large iron rod for a handle been leaning on the grill, the grill would probably be junk.
It it the rod first and pushed most of the grill back into the snow bank only directly hitting the two inch diameter wooden handle and breaking that in half while bending the metal braces.
I have heard the ice come off of the roof all day sounding like a tree fell on the house when they fall from one roof to another.
My cousin and my friend used my snowblower and once again it did not work, (I have never had a problem with it) but they fixed the sheared shear bolt in the drive wheel and blew around my house, so all is well.
