Leslie, all of my MDB's are in pots. I have to move them to the cooler parts of the garden during the winter. In the summer I put them in partial shade. This winter we did not have any cold weather until several weeks ago and I don't expect much bloom from them. I do have little bloomstalks on Rosa Brooks, first year in my garden, and on Aurora Sea which blooms every year.
Some of the newer MDB's have all the traits of SDB's except for height. I do expect them to bloom.
Bam does have a bloomstalk forming and it is an MDB but it will bloom when the SDB's do.
