Hi, Iluvtobake, welcome to my blog! I tip my hat to you. I believe that when you post here, I'm automatically notified since I have my settings set to watch any thread I've posted to.

I own 10 acres on the other side of town where I had a large home until my ex-wife burned it down in 2010. I'd taken our daughter on vacation, and while we were gone the ex spent the whole week stealing my antiques, collectibles and music equipment and selling it off. She got stuck with a carload of my stuff she hadn't sold in time and she knew I was heading home. She'd done something similar before, so she knew I would immediately know I'd been robbed when I walked in the door and she would be the first one I suspected, and there she was still with a carload of my stuff, so she knew she'd be caught red-handed unless I didn't know I'd been robbed, so she burned my home to try to hide her burglary. She ended up being charged only with the burglary, and that only because she took that last load of music equipment to a local pawn shop, but the local "law enforcement" didn't bother to investigate the arson, so she got away with that. When I got home, my house had been on fire for about an hour. So now I'm left with 10 acres, a barn and a slab over there. I bought this house 2 1/2 yrs ago and I'm still not sure if I want to keep it or sell it and rebuild a smaller home on the 10 acres, but I'm working on improving this place, at least for now. It's not in a location I really like, but my daughter, who was 16 at the time, liked this house, so I bought it so she'd have a home she liked instead of the old house we'd been renting (with a whopping total of 9 electrical outlets in the whole house, including the back porch).

As for feeling better, thanks for the well-wishes; I'm much better but not completely up to par yet, still coughing some and feeling a bit weak. I'll take it easy and make sure to not get chilled for a couple more days, then I should be fine. Thumbs up
