I took the camera into the greenhouse today, after I cleaned the fish tanks. ( the Gouramies are doing well!)
It's a real mix:
First - my Cattleya percivaliana 'Summit' FCC/AOS is blooming for the first time. I love it!
Ascocentrum pumilum is a tiny little thing, single blooms are in the mm range.
Dendrobium aberrans x woodsii seems to grow so far a little easier for me than woodsii. ( which I lost....)
Here is another one of those less than miniature Orchids - tiny!! Dendrobium torresae. It was a miracle that I discovered the bloom, really.
And Laelia autumnalis var. atrorubens aborted a few spikes, but several made it and are now opening.
Here is a two-fer: Barkeria melanocaulon on left and a Laelia spike to the right.
the plant
and a couple more pics
Pleurothallis nipterophylla is smallish plant with a tiny flower cluster. The leaves are a bit over 2 inches long and ca. 1 inch wide
