@gardenglassgems I just repaired our 30 year old wind chime. Old friends gave it to us and I like to hear it. It's has very good sound. Yes, chain last and is better than string. But this chain has rusted to badly! It will only be a matter of time before I repair it using new chain.

I find that when Gorilla Glue swells as it is supposed to, it moves pieces and changes the shape of the pot. I've used it and it creates a cracked pot look. The very BEST glue for many things is DAP RapidFuse (Lowe's, HomeDepot etc) . It is similar to Super Glue when it sets but it doesn't set for 5 seconds giving you a little time to get the pieces right. And it works on everything!! When I get everything set, I will use mortar and a fusing fabric on the backside to give the pot some strength. Or maybe some Gorilla Epoxy. It works as a filler. Haven't decided yet.
Life is short, Break the rules, Forgive quickly, Kiss slowly, Love Truly, Laugh
uncontrollably, And never regret anything that made you Smile.
