JoJoe ~ I noticed your zone is 8a.

If I can add to the information you have already received,

In summer, I would place it in bright light but not direct sunshine.

Southern summer sun can burn the leaves of Sansevieria.

It is a pretty plant, you will love it and look for many more types of Sans.
