what is the soil like? Maybe it's too wet (?)
Have you tried dividing them, and planting around your
place in different spots?
Bet they'd look great in a pot, too.
@Natalie, what are your growing conditions?
Do they grow like a weed there?
They seem to be bulletproof once they find a spot they
like. I cut them back every year. Great plant.
