William your gardens and photos are beautiful!

Marilyn that is quite a collection. Royalty Remembered is a gorgeous purple.

Paul, good trade!

The gardens and the grass are growing like crazy here after all the recent rain. Please put your clothes back on Rob - you are influencing the weather all the way East!

Getting tired of all the hand weeding so tried a suggestion of a "natural" weed killer. Basically white vinegar and dish soap. Didn't expect much, but it worked quite well. Directions said to spray in the morning and the weeds would be dead by night.....Yeah sure...... Went out to check later that evening and yep, some of the weeds were dead. I had been very careful to just spot spray certain obnoxious weeds and not hit any iris. Thistle, dandelions, creeping crap and clover were all kaput! Hurray! It didn't appear to have had any negative affect on the iris, or some of the weeds. I guess it will save me some work. But now my hillside smells like vinegar. Confused

Am noticing lots of pregnant iris! Soon be blooms! Lovey dubby
