Just wanted to share a few photos of the front pasture. The bluebonnets have had their day and are setting seed. Now it's the Indian Blanket's turn to take center stage. These meadows are the result of 19 years of self-seeding. They make my heart sing!

I took these photos early on an overcast day so the butterflies weren't out and about yet. By afternoon, the flowers will have lots of visitors. A few Indian Paintbrushes are still around.

For me, it's the perfect Texas landscape.
