It started storming around 2 a.m. The winds and lightening has lessened but the rain is incessant. The big blooms are down all over. Sad There are several favorites that have not opened. Thumbs up I hope they wait until after the rain. Crossing Fingers!

I had to make a trip to the pharmacy this morning and when i returned I could hardly get up my drive. Someone has pulled up the hill and apparently tried to back down. the drive is curved and they ran into the block retainer border. About 10-12 feet will need to be redone. That will mean collecting the soil that will, with these rains, wash down onto the drive, replace it and add more soil, see if the creeping phlox which grew on the top and cascades over the blocks can be rescued, pick up the broken pieces of planters that marched up the drive wall and move the blocks back into place. Anyone can drive carelessly but if it had been me I would have left a note offering to return an fix it, have someone else fix it.... or just apologize. When someone does damage and just drives away it seems as though they just laughed it off. Sad
Thro' all the tumult and the strife I hear the music ringing; It finds an echo in my soul— How can I keep from singing?
