I have a hazelnut in my yard, so when I saw this lookalike I thought it somehow got pollinated and I now have another. But the leaves are just a little different. Photos taken today, in the area descried in my header.

The mystery shrub has the more corrugated leaves. The hazelnut's are not quite as corrugated, even the leaves that haven't completely unfurled yet.
