That that I showed in the pictures was some I homemade, but I buy the square "all season" to keep outside here in the summer. Most other types will melt....then the dogs eat it!! However....just saw this recipe I had saved from somewhere. I think I will try it this summer and test it out.
NO Melt Suet
A recipe I use in the summer does not melt, and the birds seem to love it;
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup suet or lard
2 cups "quick cook" oats, (I'm sure any will do)
2 cups cornmeal
1 cup white flour
1. Melt lard & peanut butter.
2. Stir in other ingredients. If it seems runny, add more flour.
3. Fill small plastic margarine containers about 1/2 full, then freeze.
4. Remove from container; wrap, keep in freezer.
This suet is nice when weather is warmer.

My ingredients were a lot less....but won't hold up in the heat.
2 C solid shortening
1 C creamy peanut butter
2 1/2 C cornmeal
3/4 C seeds (optional)
I heated shortening and PB until melted stirred in cornmeal, removed from stove & let cool some. Then added the seeds and stirred again and poured into paper muffin tin cups. Makes around 24
