One good thing about the monitor barns for us that Dave didn't mention is that it give the heat a place to easily escape. For you Northerners, you want as much hay space and warmth as you can squeeze in, but we're trying to get that hot air out as fast as we can! Hilarious! We also don't need nearly the hay as our Northern friends do, so that helps heaps.
