I used the gelatin capsules you can get from a druggist. But since I didn't use the pollen to hybridize, can't vouch for its efficacy. Priced recently and it was $15 for 100 which was the smallest could obtain.

The silica packs sound like a great idea. I have always saved them but of course if it was to save my life I couldn't find one now.
