My Munstead Wood does fine in the heat here. It is a beautiful red color that will turn to fuchsia when it gets super hot. It does tend to grow sideways but it got big on its own root the first year I planted it. Nice fragrance. I really like this rose as does everyone in the neighborhood.
It tends to be a deeper dark red but my phone doesn't take pictures of red objects very well.
