I started last week, just before a snow storm and then more snow yesterday. I planted the hardier flowers and some herbs. I also planted some hardy veggies (broccoli, cabbage, lettuce, brussels sprouts). I didn't try any veggies last year, and I have high hopes that it works. Last year, I started so many things inside under lights, and I would like to scale down the inside starts.

I think I will even try to WS some tomatoes when it gets closer to spring. Of course, I am planting backup seeds inside too. I always plant at least three of most things because we can often have late snow that can ruin my tender sprouts. Our rule here is to wait for Mother's Day to plant anything out, but we get impatient and it sometimes bites us.
