Campsis radicans grows wild here and the calyx are light and pointed. Here are pictures of the wild ones I took here.
http://www.wildflowersoftexas.... If this is from a wild plant, Campsis radicans is the only one known to grow wild in the US, of course if it was from one planted by someone else it could be another variety.

As far as aggressiveness is concerned it could just be your plant or environment. The one I have does pop-up in different places, but did not do so for probably at least 10 years.
